Asya pursued her Political Science undergraduate degree at Brown University, where she nurtured her passion for public health and development. At LBS, Asya is an active member of the healthcare community, having serves as Lead for the Thought Leadership vertical in her first year, and interned at Mendelian (a London-based rare disease health tech start-up) and Eli Lilly (a leading pharmaceutical company). Before LBS, Asya was a healthcare best practice researcher at the Advisory Board, a thought leadership analyst at Kite Insights, and most recently, a health care consultant at Optum. She has primarily worked with hospital providers and policymakers, including through large-scale transformation projects with the NHS in the UK. Outside of healthcare, Asya’s passions are Formula 1 and independent movies. |

Deepesh graduated from University College London with a bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgery alongside a bachelors degree in History of Medicine. He recently became a consultant Dermatologist having complete his dermatology training at Addenbrookes University Hospital (Cambridge) with a specialist interest in skin cancer. He has previously worked in multiple specialties including oncology and renal care. He has signficant experience in quality improvement within healthcare systems (both in the UK and abroad).

Rakesh is a Healthcare Scholar MBA 2025. He is an ENT surgeon by training with a longstanding involvement in healthtech and healthcare management. He is an Included VC Fellow 2023, NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur since 2017 and an assessor for the NHS Innovation Accelerator. He has collaborated alongside healthtech companies including Mindstep, Tympahealth and Ambu. As an asset manager, he decided on a long-term investment policy by optimizing the balance of risk and return. Hung is a former Strategy& Manager with 5+ years of engagement experience across 5+ countries in South East Asia, Middle East, and Africa. Most notably, he was a part of the team who built growth strategy for a top 50 global university and healthcare centre (top 10 in Asia), as well as various strategy, CDD, and operating model design for pharma/healthcare clients. During his time in LBS, he was also a NHS Fellow who was engaged on a pro-bono engagement with Northwick Park Hospital, interned with Avegen Health (a digital health platform startup by LBS alumni) and with Anya by LatchAid (an AI companion application backed by Dan Cobley, ex Google CEO), he also led MScan (an affordable medical device manufacturer in Uganda) to win the Humans to Humans accelerator program. He is now also the Co-president of LBS Impact Investing Fund focusing on reforming the fund and scale up. She was also selected for the global venture catalyst program by UC Berkley, to perform an analysis on Sickle cell Anaemia in Sub Saharan Africa. After her graduate degree she worked with KPMG to digitally transform financial services, where she honed the skill of extracting insights from data to create client specific solutions. She hopes to use the skills she’s picked up from these diverse set of experiences to build a long term career in healthcare consulting. |
